Jack Burger has built cabinets and fine furniture for the last fifteen years and has played and taught guitar for most of his life. As a natural extension of these two labours of love, he earned a certificate of Lutherie in the design, construction and repair of fretted string instruments, in 2003 and began building custom guitars.
Every Jack Axe Guitar is individually hand crafted to insure the best materials, workmanship and sound quality. Through this site, you can see some of Jack’s work: from his original dreadnaught line, the Mother Mary (honouring his late Mother); the 000 size Little Debbie (named for his wife); the Trailercana Series, with it’s unique teardrop trailer body shape, (the exterior body design by Antsy McClain of The Trailer Park Troubadours); to the Trailercana Series - Doublewide which has the Trailercana Series body shape and features two necks, a mandolin over a six string guitar.
